Nonfiction

Anna Claire Weber is a nonfiction writer and translator based in Pittsburgh by way of upstate New York, Vermont, Belgium, and France. In addition, she is the translation editor for The Offing. Her current writing focuses on the town of Szubin during World War II and a POW camp just outside the town where her grandfather was interned. She has also been visiting and recording the stories of several former POWs, both from the veterans themselves and from their children.

When not writing, she is drinking coffee, baking, reading, generally outside, or watching back-to-back Stanley Cup champions the Pittsburgh Penguins. Find her at annaclaireweber.com.
